Michelle is also a passionate advocate for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids. Over the past decade, she has raised thousands of dollars for the cause as part of Broadway Bares, founded by her former Hairspray choreographer Jerry Mitchell.
Her voice is magnificent and her dancing is superb. Dowdy is a delight to watch and her very presence seems to elicit the best performances from her fellow actors. - M NOOK
